Error: "Unrecognized WAV file format"

This error occurs when you attempt to use a WAV file that has been recorded in the stereo format.

To work properly with Mixman DM2, you will need to convert the file into the mono format. You can do this with any WAV editor. Most Windows systems come with a program called Sound Recorder (in the Entertainment program group under Accessories). Using this application, follow these steps to convert the file:

1. Open the file you want to convert.
2. Select save as.
3. Select the change button next to the format.
4. Select 44.1 KHz, 16-bit Mono and click OK.
5. Now continue to save the file normally. It is now ready to be used with the Mixman software.
